Battery

This is one man’s personal story of his World War II combat missions in Europe. It was prompted by the book, “Battery” by Joseph Covais, the blind son of one of the men featured in the book. In it, C. Lenton Sartain, the battery commander talks about their roles in the 82nd Airborne’s 319th Glider Artillery Unit. It’s up close and personal.
